ZT1-600 bidirectional slack adjuster is mounted on the foundation brake rigging of railway freight wagons. After brake shoe wear or replacement, the unit automatically extends or retracts the screw rod to keep the standard clearance between brake shoe and wheel tread and stabilize brake cylinder piston stroke.
