Heavy-Duty Mud-K Valve with Empty-Load Automatic Adjustment Function

Mounted on the foundation braking system of standard gauge freight wagons, this valve senses the vehicle load status (empty/loaded) and automatically controls brake cylinder pressure, realizing intelligent switching between "low braking force under empty load" and "high braking force under loaded conditions", thus eliminating braking force mismatch under different load conditions caused by fixed braking force. The valve body features heavy-duty reinforced design with wear-resistant spool and reliable sealing, and the whole valve is corrosion-resistant and tolerant to extreme temperatures, adapting to harsh environments such as heavy dust, humidity, salt spray and mining areas. Featuring fast response, stable pressure control and easy maintenance, this valve effectively shortens braking distance, reduces brake shoe uneven wear and wheel tread damage, and extends the service life of braking components. It is widely applicable to various standard gauge freight wagons including open-top, covered, tank and flat wagons, and is compatible with existing freight wagon braking systems and control valves.

MUD-K Distributor Valve

Core Positioning:MUD-K distributor valve is the core control component of UIC-standard MUB air brake system, applicable to international standard railway freight wagons, covered wagons, tank containers and China-Europe block cross-border freight vehicles, and can replace the old KE-type distributor valve.

Basic Brake Control:It real-time senses pressure changes of train brake pipe, automatically switches five working modes: charging, service braking, brake holding, full release and emergency braking; uniformly controls auxiliary reservoir air charging, brake cylinder pressure output and exhaust release process.

Safety Protection Functions

Rapid exhaust for emergency braking: Instantly trigger full-train emergency braking when brake pipe pressure drops sharply to shorten stopping distance;
Anti-false braking sensitivity design: Tiny natural leakage will not activate braking, greatly reducing accidental braking failures without operation;
Overpressure protection: Limit maximum brake cylinder pressure to avoid overload damage of brake shoes and wheel sets;
Overcharge elimination function: Suppress overcharged pipeline air pressure and stabilize synchronous braking of the whole train.

Load Adaptive Regulation:Built-in empty/load weight adjustment mechanism, automatically adjusts maximum output pressure of brake cylinder according to vehicle load. It reduces braking force under empty load to prevent wheel skidding, and increases braking power under full load to meet standard stopping distance requirements.

Maintenance Adaptation:Modular integrated valve body, can be wholly disassembled from mounting base for maintenance without removing vehicle pipelines; aluminum alloy valve body features light weight and corrosion resistance under extreme railway temperature, suitable for cross-border multi-climate lines.
