This horizontal main air reservoir is a pressure vessel specially designed for air brake systems of locomotives and EMUs.
It is manufactured in compliance with railway standard TB/T 304‑2011.
Made of Q245R pressure‑vessel carbon steel, the tank adopts saddle‑type horizontal mounting structure for easy installation on vehicle body.
Internal anti‑rust passivation treatment and external epoxy anti‑corrosion coating deliver outstanding weather resistance and vibration resistance.
The reservoir stores dry compressed air to provide stable air source for brake system and auxiliary pneumatic equipment.
It is pre‑equipped with connection ports for drain valve, safety valve and pressure gauge.
Every unit passes factory tests including hydrostatic test, air tightness test and non‑destructive weld inspection.
It meets GB/T 21563 railway vibration & shock requirements, and works reliably under ‑40℃ ~ +60℃ harsh operating conditions.
